Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a constitutionally mandated gathering of members and a key governance platform for the association. It brings together hundreds of members and senior leaders from the hotel and hospitality industry to review, deliberate, and shape the future direction of the association.

Held as a closed-door session exclusively for MAH members, the AGM provides a formal setting to assess the association’s achievements over the past year, present key developments, and outline strategic priorities for the year ahead. It serves as an important checkpoint for accountability, continuity, and alignment within the organisation.

As the national voice of Malaysia’s hotel industry, MAH uses the AGM as a platform to reinforce its leadership role and guide industry-wide direction. The decisions and resolutions made during the meeting carry significant influence, shaping not only the association’s internal agenda but also contributing to broader hospitality sector strategies and initiatives moving forward.
