Culinaire Malaysia

Culinaire Malaysia is the premier biennial culinary competition in the region and one of the most prestigious platforms for culinary excellence in Asia. Since its inception in 1993, the event has consistently set industry benchmarks, providing an avenue for culinary professionals and emerging talents to showcase their skills, creativity, and innovation.

Organised by the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) in collaboration with its co-organisers, the Professional Culinaire Association of Malaysia (PCA) and the Malaysian Food and Beverage Executives Association (M.F.B.E.A.), Culinaire Malaysia is held in conjunction with Food & Hotel Malaysia (FHM) 2025.

Officially endorsed by the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs/WACS) and the International Food and Beverage Association (IFBA), the four-day competition reflects the highest standards of culinary professionalism and global recognition, reinforcing its standing as one of the most respected culinary events in the region.

Each edition consistently attracts over 1,000 participants from Malaysia and around the world, competing across dozens of competition classes and categories. Contestants are evaluated by a distinguished panel of more than 100 expert judges, ensuring a world-class and highly competitive platform that continues to elevate culinary standards and celebrate excellence in the hospitality and food service industry.

The 18th edition of Culinaire Malaysia will return in 2027. Registration details will be announced and opened early in the year. We look forward to welcoming participants to another exciting edition of the region’s premier culinary competition.
